Trunk or Treat 2020

The Drive Thru Experience

Event Information

Celtic Cross will be hosting its annual Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 25th, starting at 4PM. Due to Covid-19, we have modified it to be a drive-thru experience to have proper social distancing.

Please enter the Celtic Cross parking lot on the north side. There, you will see a staging area. When it is your turn, you will be directed to drive thru the route at a slow speed with the decorated trunks on either side; team members will pass out candy.

All team members will be wearing masks, and anyone passing out candy will also be wearing gloves. The candy will be pre-packaged, store bought.

It’s our desire that we can give joy and hope to the community in this difficult year.

Want to Volunteer?

We are in need of people to help us in loving our community. There are three really important ways you can help: Donate Candy, Decorate a Car, and Traffic Crew.

Donate Candy: Prepackaged, individually wrapped candy can be donated at any of the live outdoor services between now and Trunk or Treat. You can also drop it off at the office, Monday thru Friday, 9AM to 4PM.

Decorate a Car: Design and decorate your vehicle’s trunk with creative ideas from movies, games, literature… After signing up we will send out guidelines and some great resource links. The people decorating the car will be expected to pass out candy at the event unless you let us know ahead of time. Many of our vehicles bring their own candy, but this is not required. Car Decorators will need to be at their station by 3:30PM set up.

Traffic Crew: This essential team will help us stage the cars as they enter, then over see traffic flow, keeping it safe and smooth. They will have guidelines and instructions sent to them before the event and will be given safety gear to wear and use. The Crew will need to be at the site by 3PM.
